Ho avuto l’onore di conoscere Simone Ghera per caso e di solito è così che iniziano le migliori amicizie.
L’ho aiutato a Berlino, gestendo una diretta streaming, durante l’inaugurazione “Dancer Inside” e da allora siamo rimasti in contatto.
Che dire dei suoi scatti? Mescola sapientemente la figura del danzatore, da sempre legato all’idea di movimento e leggerezza, con le statiche strutture architettoniche, creando un effetto unico.
I ballerini immortalati arrivano da tutto il mondo: Europa (soprattutto a Madrid, Londra, Roma, Berlino, Parigi, Firenze, Praga, Vienna, ecc), Stati Uniti (New York, Albany), Federazione Russa (San Pietroburgo, Mosca) e l’Azerbaigian (Baku).
Lui è un architetto romano, innamorato della fotografia e dal 2008 Dancer Inside ha girato il mondo, sbarcando, finalmente, a Milano dall’1 al 10 luglio presso la galleria Sabrina Folzone in via Giorgio Pallavicino n. 29.
Perché andare?
“Dancer Inside London” è stato il primo evento tenuto da un artista non russo o inglese all’interno del “Russian Center of London”
Inoltre, Ghera è stato il primo artista (non russo) ad esporre all’interno dell’Istituto di Cultura e Lingua Russa di Roma.
